From Yogyakarta to Borobudur Temple, the journey takes approximately 1 to 1.5 hours. Explore Borobudur: Arrive at Borobudur Temple complex. After soaking up all that history and culture at Borobudur, the drive to Prambanan will be a nice change of pace. It's about a 1.5 to 2-hour ride, so not too bad.
