Here at Ohana Surf Project we believe our clients are like family, and we strive to provide the best service to every person who chooses to join us on the water and we welcome their loved ones who come along to support them as well. We are passionate about surfing and specialize in three ways of teaching you how to glide across the water: surf, stand up paddle and bodyboard. All of our staff members have been in the business for many years and are some of the finest instructors in the industry. We love what we do and we enjoy working together, as a team and as ohana to make our students feel safe, comfortable, and successful. Our biggest priority is SAFETY! All our coaches and guides are professional, trained in safety (CPR, lifeguard, first aid), and friendly. Group Lessons offer: One instructor shared by two or three students. Allows for close communication between student and instructor but, at times, the student must wait their turn to catch a wave. Beginners receive a 15 minutes theory, safety and practice in the sand, before getting in the water, the other levels go directly to the ocean after a short evaluation. Lessons are divided in two sessions and in the half time break we provide coconut or purified water and some fruit. Round-trip transportation is included.

It is the best experience to share with your kids! During the private family surf lesson, one of our instructors will be fully available to ensure the fun and safety of kids and parents! The private family surf lesson starts from 3 participants. Depending on the children’s age, an assistant will get into the water to help during the lesson! The minimum age for kids to join the private family surf lesson is 7 years old. Younger kids can join the lesson but will need a private instructor just for them! Depending on the number of kids joining the lesson and the surfing forecasts for the day, we will suggest if an additional instructor is needed to ensure the safety of the family.
