The reindeer and the Sami have been living and working on this land for centuries and they have only recently invited guests to be part of their daily life. You will visit their camp and have a chance to feed the herd of around 300 wild reindeer who will swarm all around and some will even eat from your hands. You will then be invited for hot drinks around the fire inside a warm candlelit gamme (Traditional Sami Hut) where lunch, bidos, cooked over the open fire will be served (a traditional Sami stew which is often served at Sami weddings and other special occasions). After lunch you will be invited into a lavvu (Sami tent) and gather around the fire to listen to stories about Sami culture and how it is to be a reindeer herder. The Sami guide will also perform a joik (traditional Sami song) for the guests.

Join us for an exciting visit at an authentic reindeer farm. Get to do a short reindeer sledding tour, visit and feed a herd of several hundred reindeer. We are an indigenous people in Europe and the Nordic countries. The area that has historically been inhabited by our ancestors for generations is called Sápmi and includes northern part of Norway, Sweden, Finland and Russia. Our goal for you is to have a genuine experience with us, in our everyday life.

Given every half hour, our guided tours are both informative and interactive. A knowledgeable guide will first introduce the adult emus and ostriches. You will learn about the ostrich's amazing speed as well as other defense mechanisms it uses against predators. Mating, rearing, and feeding habits will both surprise and amuse you. You will even have the opportunity to hand-feed the not-so-shy creatures. Just watch out! Ostriches are ALWAYS hungry, and if you have food in your hands, you may quickly find yourself surrounded by a herd of curious critters.

Our ranch is a breeding facility to save the Rare Red Friesians. With only 14 in the world, our ranch owns 4 of them and with more to come. All of our Friesians are used in our breeding program as well as workshop and riding horses. Even the babies are used for our tour groups and horsemanship classes. Nowhere else in the world can you get this up close and comfortable with Friesian horses. This special herd welcomes all people. You will learn about the breed and the special program to save and promote the Red Friesians. They will steal your heart and put big smiles on your faces. An exciting half-day biking tour in rural villages of Hoi An. This fun experience is suitable for all ages. Meeting at our office – starting point, you'll spend some time to get used with biking. Then we'll cycle on quiet country roads to see scenic farmland & fishing villages. Meet our herd of 300 reindeer and join on a 30-minute sleigh ride while enjoying the beautiful nature a and the wonderful northern night sky! We cannot predict when lady aurora shows up, but we are lucky to have a location with very little light pollution and beautiful nature to experience this phenomenon in all its splendour! After a sleigh ride of about 30 minutes, you will head towards the fence and feed our lovely reindeers. Right after, you will head to our Gamme-hut where you will enjoy some hot drinks and you will get to taste our reindeer stew or our hearty vegan soup. When we are all comfortable, our Sami guide will tell you more about the Sami culture and history, they will show you some of our traditional crafts. At the end of the tour, when the rest of the group heads back to Tromsø, you will be accompanied to your tent where you will learn how to keep yourselves warm through the night, just like it has been done for centuries, in what we call “hot tent camping”.

We work exclusively with local, passionate mushers who view their dog teams as their family, and you will have the chance to understand this incredible sport on your hourlong ride through the snowy forest. You will ride on a genuine dogsled, either seated or standing, as the team of 8 dogs swings through the forest with you and your guide at a comfortable but thrilling pace. You will also have the chance to see the dog kennels, and a replica of a dog-sled race checkpoint, where the competitive mushers stop for fuel and rest on their long winter races. On your reindeer tour, our experienced reindeer handlers will introduce you to the herd of reindeer at Borealis Basecamp, and you can feed, meet, and take pictures with these incredible animals.

Come and meet the alpacas at our farm in Kenilworth in Warwickshire! The experience is 2 hours long. We start with a short talk about alpacas and the chance to see our shop selling hand knitted alpaca accessories. Then meet the alpacas, cuddle some babies and take photos. Then a tour round the farm to feed the herd and we finish with taking an alpaca for a walk. All experiences must be booked in advance. We have a 72-hour cancellation policy. On your snowmachine tour, your route traces a path along the famous Trans Alaska Pipeline, with a detour through a genuine Alaskan trapline.
