Many Charleston Ghost Tours have big groups of 25+ – NOT HERE!! We limit our tour sizes to about 12 to keep them fun! Charleston is one of the most charming and colorful cities in the world; however, when the light fades and shadows grow long, a darker side of the Holy City emerges. Over the course of just over 1 mile long, our 90 min walk will pass haunted graveyards, churches, alleyways, hotels, restaurants, and bars. You will hear the real and terrifying stories of ghostly brides, murders, pirates, soldiers, executions, duels, and so much more! As the night falls over the streets of Charleston, we start by the Old Exchange and Provost Dungeon and walk through the historic streets where you will hear about real, and active spirits from Charlestons 350 year history like pirates whose lives were cut short at the end of a noose, a young lady who wonders down a particular alley, and a doctor who walks throughout the Holy City. Come Hear It All!

Your pirate guide will lead the group on a 2.5-hour walking tour through historic downtown Charleston. You will begin and end at a bar, each housed in historic buildings with their own unique ghosts and stories. Guests will have time to purchase and enjoy a delicious libation as the guide tells them all about the fascinating history of Charleston and some of its most famous and creepy haunted stories! Please keep in mind that there will be a lot of walking between drinks stops where your guide will share the haunted history of several landmarks along the way. Per city law, Alcohol must NEVER be taken out of the bar. *Tour route and drink stops are subject to availability. *All guests must be 21+ with Valid ID. Alcohol is not included.

Join us for a memorable tour of the ground level of the Old City Jail, which housed some of Charleston’s most infamous criminals, 19th-century pirates, and Civil War prisoners. Located on Magazine Street downtown, the Old City Jail operated from 1802 until 1939, and has recently undergone renovation, leaving the first floor in keeping with its original design (with the welcomed addition of air conditioning). Come aboard The USS Yorktown and hear the stories of the American Heroes who lived, died, and are still rumored to be here today. Commissioned in 1943, the “Fighting Lady” was once manned by over 3,000 people and designed to fight off enemies all over the globe during WWII. You will hear stories of their ultimate sacrifice and heroism as the people that once inhabited this ship dedicated their lives to the service of our country and to this great ship. This tour gives you exclusive night time access to areas of the ship that are closed to the public, including access to the flight deck after dark. Combining aspects of the truly horrific, the scandalously sensual, and the just-plan-weird, this ghost tour is a unique look at a city that largely ignores its dark past. Brothels, murders, suicides, demonic entities – just some of what you'll hear about on this tour. The Death and Depravity Ghost Tour contains mature themes and language.

Collect paranormal evidence using our tools in a small group setting of up to twelve ghost hunters total. This is not your average ghost storytelling tour, this is an interactive experience to learn the history of Charleston by being part of the story. You'll collect paranormal evidence, hear histories of Charleston and then receive all recorded data from all ghost hunters in your investigation. This includes videos, audio, along with any visuals and screenshots used to verify paranormal captures. An Estes Method will also be performed during your investigation, a very interesting and new method of ghost hunting. When booking, please provide a texting phone number. All guests receive a text with meeting point and parking instructions on the morning of their investigation. While guests will have to decide that for themselves, we can tell you this is not an average "sit there and shut up " tour, but rather an opportunity to engage back and forth with a local Charlestonian. As a combined bar and ghost tour guests will visit two different bars where complimentary appetizer will be served at the first location and the guide will provide drink recommendations. As part of the tour guests will also walk by and receive history based ghost stories near graveyards, alleyways, and a haunted dungeon. The second bar is an historic building with a fantastic local beer selection. Guests will ward off the spirits with some "spirits." The tour will wind down at a hauntingly beautiful local park where one of the first female serial killers was hung. Don't stick around too long after the tour or you may end up a ghost yourself!
