40 kilometros from Puerto Iguazú, are the famous Mines of Wanda, where is a deposit of semiprecious stones of quartz crystals, amethysts and topazes. The historic Salt Mine is located about 10 km from Krakow and is on the first UNESCO World Heritage List (1978). The current mine was established ad the turn off 18 and 19 century (though mining history reaches antiquity here). The tourist route goes through the most interesting places in the mine that consists of 22 chambers which are connected by salt pathways of lenght about 3 km. Chambers are located at depth 64 to 135 meters underground.

Two of the most important tourist centers in the city of Cusco are Maras and Moray. In these places, you can appreciate parts of our ancient culture through its different stages, including pre-Inca, Inca, colonial, and republican periods. During the tour, we will visit the Salt Mines or Salineras, which consist of approximately 2,000 small pools fed by a salty spring that flows from the mountain. We will also explore the Moray Archaeological Complex, a unique archaeological site in the region. It consists of giant natural depressions that were used by the Incas, who built agricultural terraces or platforms with irrigation channels, essentially creating a prototype of a greenhouse.

The Wieliczka Salt Mines is a UNESCO World Heritage site. It is a virtual underground city, with magnificent chambers chiselled out in rock salt, amazing underground saline lakes, majestic timber constructions and unique statues sculpted in salt.

The mine, built in the 13th century, produced table salt continuously until 2007, as one of the world's oldest salt mines still in operation.  The mine's attractions include dozens of statues, three chapels and an entire cathedral that has been carved out of the rock salt by the miners. The Wieliczka mine is often referred to as "the Underground Salt Cathedral of Poland." In 1978 it was placed on the original UNESCO list of the World Heritage Sites.Today, the “Wieliczka” Salt Mine combines many centuries of tradition and modernity, the history of several hundred years and an underground metropolis with extensive infrastructure.
