Using high-powered laser pointers, we will provide you an entertaining and scholastic experience, with stories about ancient civilizations, Greek mythology, and the evolution of the Cosmos. Our telescopes are operated with a keypad and are as easy to use as sending a text. Telescopes are pre-programmed with our object list for the night. Pressing one button on the keypad moves the telescope to the next object. We regularly view the following types and classes of objects: Galaxies, Nebulae, Star Clusters, Double and Binary Stars, Planets, Earth’s Moon, Globular Clusters, Comets, and more. Depending on timing, the International Space Station (ISS) and Starlink trains can be seen passing overhead.

This 2 hour round trip will take you from the Willits valley floor to the highest point on our rail line. During this trip you will pass through Tunnel #2 and descend into the redwood-thick Noyo River Canyon – an amazing ecological wonderland, and an excellent opportunity to discover the mighty giants that made Mendocino County famous. The train will stop briefly at Crowley while you enjoy the splendor of one of the oldest and most iconic trees along our route. The Wolf Tree was so named for the large growth off of one side – woodsman called these wolf trees because they choke out smaller trees and underbrush. Passengers are able to get off the train during our stop at Crowley, to better enjoy the views. You'll make the trip to Crowley on board one of our historic Diesel-Electric engines.

Oaxaca's FAVORITE ride. A must do while you're here! Join this beautiful and safe bike ride to see the massive and ancient "El Tule" tree, which is famous for being the WIDEST tree in the world. We'll also visit the town of "Santa Maria del Tule", its church and its market. This is a great GUIDED ride and we'll provide you with a BIKE and HELMET. We'll meet in Oaxaca city to start our journey to El Tule (45 min. ride, 10 km or 6 miles one way). We'll ride on a SAFE bike lane covered with tree shades for the most part. It's mostly flat. We'll start biking out of the city first, then towards the outskirts with views of beautiful hills, and crop fields. Once we arrive to Santa Maria, we'll take you to the tree, the colorful church and the beautiful lush gardens. Here you'll LEARN interesting facts and history about the tree. Then, we'll have time to visit the food market to grab a bite/drink and to walk around the square and gardens. REQUIREMENTS: To know how to ride a bike (20 km).
