Our tour begins in the Sobro (South of Broadway) neighborhood at Parlor Doughnuts, one of the newest editions to the area. Here we’ll try some of their amazing donuts, featured above. After that, we’ll take a leisurely walk through downtown, stopping along the way to talk about the major entertainment district along Broadway. We’ll then continue our way to two amazing donut shops in the Arts District. Our tour begins near St. Stephen’s Green at The Rolling Donut, one of Dublin’s original doughnut shops. From there, we'll make our way down to past the Luke Kelly statue to George's Street, where we'll talk about the Vikings and Dublin Castle. At our second stop, we’ll try some traditional Irish churros. Believe me, churros might not be traditional to Dublin, but these churros are delicious nonetheless. Along Queen street, you’ll find numerous shops and restaurants that you’ll want to add to your itinerary for later that day or the next time you’re in Toronto. After a quick bit of history around Bloomer’s and the surrounding neighborhood, we’ll sample some delicious donuts made fresh daily and then make our way through Alexandra Park, on our way to Kensington Market. Our tour starts at a quintessentially Victoria donut shop, Empire Donuts, in the heart of downtown. Empire is known for its unique donuts in an intergalactic 50’s diner style shop. From there, we walk a short distance to a beloved coffee and donut spot in Victoria, passing some of the best restaurant locations (according to our guides!) along the way.
