Preah Vihear temple is located on the Cambodian-Thai border. It sits on top of a 525-meter cliff in the heart of the Dangrek Mountain. There has been a dispute in recent years over the ownership of the temple, however it was recently ruled by the International Court of Justice that it belongs to Cambodia.
It’s a stunning temple and was a favourite of the Khmer Kings as it was frequently upgraded and added to. It’s now listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The way to the temple is very steep the view is out of this world when you get to the top.
