Following a hotel pick-up at 9 am from Siem Reap City area hotel, your first stop will be Angkor Silk Farm.

Stop At: Angkor Silk Farm, Airport Road Puok District, Siem Reap 17259 Cambodia

This silk farm is a worthwhile place to see a slice of Cambodian rural industry. Set amongst fields of mulberry trees, the silk farm is a working factory farm, producing some of the finest silk in the country.

Next, you head to Artisans Angkor. Artisans Angkor is a semi-public company which was originally created to help young Cambodian people find work near their home village in Siem Reap province. Artisans Angkor is the largest employer of Siem Reap province. It regularly invests in the opening of workshops in rural villages and in the development of new training programs.

Artisans Angkor has become a real showcase of Khmer craftsmanship for its silk fabrics and garments, stone and wood carving, lacquer ware, ceramics, silver-plated copperware, silk painting, and jewelry.

You will visit Cambodian Cultural Village. The Cambodian Cultural Village is an amusement park in Siem Reap, where you can learn more about the Cambodian culture. In addition, expect to encounter Buddha statues, local Cambodian arts and crafts for sale at the souvenir stores.

Next you will visit Wat Bo Temple. Wat Bo is one of the oldest pagodas in Siem Reap, Cambodia and has a number of well-preserved wall paintings from the 19th century. Although it is a Buddhist temple some of the wall paintings describe the famous ancient love story of Rama and Shita, the strongest man and the most beautiful women of all times. Still today the royal families of the Southeast Asian countries claim to be descendants of Rama. These wall paintings describe a Hindu story that is most remarkable in a Buddhist temple.

At approximately 05:00 pm, you’ll arrive back at your hotel in Siem Reap city area where the tour will end.
