Make your own way to the Titanic tourism port on Sisowath quay in time for an 11am departure and hop aboard your river boat.
Set sail along the Bassac River and soak up the scenery as you pass the magnificent Royal Palace, Koh Pich island, and the Chaktomuk, the confluence of the Mekong, Tonle Sap and Bassac rivers. Listen to the on-board commentary as you admire the Phnom Penh skyline, then watch as the urban landscape gives way to tranquil waterways, lined with traditional stilt houses.
Pass the town of Takhmau and head around the northern tip of Koh Anlong Chen island, as your guide recounts the story of Ptea Clara, the young Cambodia girl after which the Ptea Clara organisation is named. Hear more about the organisation’s work, providing homes and medical care to orphaned children – part of the profits from your cruise is donated to the NGO.
