Day 1: Day 1: Siem Reap

Welcome to Siem Reap – the Kingdom of Wonder. You will be warmly greeted by your Green Cultural Travel guide, who will ensure that your hotel transfer and check-in goes smoothly. After time to settle in, your guide will take you to explore the town, including its markets and many galleries. You will then have time to enjoy the hotel facilities, before your guide escorts you to a welcome dinner, sampling the unique Khmer cuisine, while in the meantime, enjoying a performance of the world famous Apsara dance. With dancers, singers and musicians, this cultural experience set in a unique Khmer wooden theatre is a great way to start your holiday.

Day 2: Day 2: Siem Reap – Angkor Archaeological Park

Stop At: Angkor Wat, Krong Siem Reap, Cambodia
After breakfast, your guide will take you on the start of a magical journey for your first glimpse of the kingdom of Angkor at the legendary Angkor Wat.

Stop At: Bayon Temple, Angkor Thom, Siem Reap Cambodia
Moving on, we enter the Bayon temple complex and its enormous imposing face, taking in the grandeur of the Leper King and Elephant Terraces.

Stop At: Ta Prohm Temple, Angkor Archaeological Park, Siem Reap 21000 Cambodia
Your day of exploring concludes at the Ta Prohm Temple, an ancient temple with trees growing out of the ruins against the jungle surroundings.
Guests can choose to relax at the hotel, or head into the area known as “Pub Street”, which is the major entertainment and dining precinct in Siem Reap. There are also some great night markets to explore.

Day 3: Day 3: Siem Reap – Banteay Srei and Artisans d’angkor

Stop At: Banteay Srei, Siem Reap Cambodia
Following your breakfast, guests will start the day with a tour of the extraordinary temple “Banteay Srei”, where there are three central towers decorated with male and female divinities.

Stop At: Artisans d’Angkor, 12AEo, Street 13 in front of Phnom Penh Post Office, Phnom Penh Cambodia
We then take a visit to Artisan D’ Angkor, a workshop that is reviving the traditional Cambodian artisan skills, after which guests will feel free to bargain at the old market.
Guests can then again choose to relax at their hotel, or head out again to enjoy the nightlife of Siem Reap.

Day 4: Day 4: Siem Reap – Phnom Penh

Stop At: Silver Pagoda, Phnom Penh Cambodia
After breakfast, we will transfer guests by private vehicle to Phnom Penh. Along the way, there will opportunities to sample some great local fresh fruit and snacks.
Arriving in the early afternoon, guests will check in at the hotel, and have a short break before we start our exploration of this bustling city.
Guests will enjoy a guided tour of the majestic Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda. Located in the heart of the riverside precinct, guests will also see the unique mix of traditional shop houses and magnificent French colonial architecture that make up this bustling city.
Guests can then again choose to relax at their hotel, or head out to experience the unique nightlife of Phnom Penh, and enjoy a dinner at one of the many fine local restaurants.

Day 5: Day 5: Phnom Penh – City tour

Stop At: Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum, Corner of Street 113 & St 350 History Museum, Phnom Penh 12304 Cambodia
Following breakfast, we then start what is, for many, a harrowing but unforgettable day at what we call our “Tour of Remembrance”. Come to understand the brutality of the Khmer Rouge regime. We start by visiting the Genocide museum, or “Toul Sleng” (S-21) – the prison where it is estimated more than 15,000 people were tortured.
Duration: 3 hours

Stop At: Choeung Ek Genocidal Center, Roluos Village, Sangkat Cheung Aek, Phnom Penh Cambodia
We then follow the last journey of the victims who were taken after their interrogation and torture, to Choeung Eng or the “Killing Fields”, a haunting but peaceful experience in what is now the final resting place for so many. We end our day at a local temple for a cleansing ceremony in which we make an offering to the lost souls of this brutal period.

We then return guests to their hotel, and the time is yours to relax or head out to continue to experience the unique city of Phnom Penh.

Day 6: Day 6: Phnom Penh

Stop At: Wat Phnom, Street 96 Norodom Blvd, Phnom Penh Cambodia
The day starts after breakfast with a visit to Wat Phnom. This ancient Buddhist temple is located in the Centre of Phnom Penh. We will then explore the riverside precinct, including taking in the sprawling Wat Ounalom temple complex, the Independence Monument, which was built in 1958 for Cambodia’s independence from France, and the nearby statue of the former King, Norodom Sihanouk.

Your guide will then return you to your hotel and ensure you are transferred for your departing flight, or on to your next Cambodian adventure.
