The first stop is a hilltop temple, where you’ll find a massive reclining Buddha carved directly into a sandstone boulder. Next, head to the River of a Thousand Lingas, exploring a riverbank adorned with ancient carvings of phalluses and Hindu gods.

Cool off at Phnom Kulen Waterfalls, which tumble into a wide basin that’s ideal for a midday swim or wade.
