Day 1: Angkor Thom,Bayon, Angkor Wat and sunset at Phnom Bakheng mountain

Angkor Thom, located in present-day Cambodia, was the last and most enduring capital city of the Khmer empire. It was established in the late 12th century by King Jayavarman VII.

Bayon is a richly decorated Khmer temple at Angkor in Cambodia. It was built the late 12th century as the state temple of the Mahayana Buddhist King Jayavarman VII, the Bayon stands at the centre of Jayavarman’s capital, Angkor Thom.

Stop At: Baphuon Temple, Angkor Archaelogical Park, Krong Siem Reap, Cambodia
Baphoun was built in the mid-11th century, it is a three-tiered temple mountain built as the state temple of Udayadityavarman II dedicated to the Hindu God Shiva.

Stop At: Terrace of the Elephants, Angkor Thom Angkor Archaeological Park, Siem Reap 17252 Cambodia
Terrace of the Elephants is part of the walled city of Angkor Thom, a ruined temple complex in Cambodia. The terrace was used by Angkor’s king Jayavarman VII as a platform from which to view his victorious returning army.

Terrace of the Leper King is located in the northwest corner of the Royal Square of Angkor Thom, Cambodia. It was built in the Bayon style under Jayavarman VII, though its modern name derives from a 15th-century sculpture discovered at the site.

Our local guide to take you to have lunch at a local restaurant. We will take a lunch break for about 60 minutes before moving to our next stop.

Stop At: Angkor Wat, Sangkat Nokor Thum, Siem Reap Cambodia
After enjoying your lunch, we continue to explore the most spectacular Angkor Wat temple. It is the most impressive temple in the world and also in Cambodia and is the largest religious monument in the world, on a site measuring 162.6 hectares. Originally constructed as a Hindu temple dedicated to the god Vishnu for the Khmer Empire, it was gradually transformed into a Buddhist temple towards the end of the 12th century.

Stop At: Phnom Bakheng, Angkor Archaeological Park, Siem Reap 17000 Cambodia
If you prefer to watch the sunset, the best spot is Phnom Bakheng hill and we should arrive at the mountain before 4:00 pm.

Day 2: Sunrise at Angkor Wat, Ta Prohm, Preah Khan, Neak Pean, Ta Som, Pre Rup and East Mebon temple

Stop At: Angkor Wat, Sangkat Nokor Thum, Siem Reap Cambodia
Please ask your hotel’s staff to pack a takeaway breakfast and we will pick you up at 4:40 am for the sunrise tour at Angkor Wat temple

Stop At: Ta Prohm, National Road #6 Angkor Archaeological Park, Siem Reap 17252 Cambodia
In order to avoid the crowd, we will start to visit Ta Prom known as ‘’Tomb Raider temple.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Pre Rup, National Road #6 Angkor Archaeological Park, Siem Reap 17252 Cambodia
Pre Rup is a Hindu temple at Angkor, Cambodia, built as the state temple of Khmer king Rajendravarman and dedicated in 961 or early 962. It is a temple mountain of combined brick, laterite and sandstone construction.
Duration: 35 minutes

Stop At: Eastern Mebon, Angkor, Siem Reap Cambodia
East Mebon is a 10th Century temple at Angkor, Cambodia. It was built during the reign of King Rajendravarman for dedicating to the Hindu god Shiva and honours the parents of the king, it stands on what was an artificial island at the centre of the now dry East Baray reservoir.

Ta Som is a small temple at Angkor, Cambodia, built at the end of the 12th century for King Jayavarman VII.
Duration: 20 minutes

Stop At: Neak Pean, Angkor Wat Angkor Archaeological Park, Siem Reap 17252 Cambodia
Neak Pean at Angkor, Cambodia is an artificial island with a Buddhist temple on a circular island in Jayatataka Baray, which was associated with Preah Khan temple, built during the reign of King Jayavarman VII.
Duration: 20 minutes

Stop At: Preah Khan, Angkor Wat Angkor Archaelogical Park, Siem Reap 17252 Cambodia
Preah Khan is a temple at Angkor, Cambodia, built in the 12th-century to honour his father. It is located northeast of Angkor Thom and just west of the Jayatataka man-made lake, with which it was associated. It was the centre of a substantial organisation, with almost 100,000 officials and servants.
We will drop you off at your hotel after your tour is ended. This tour normally ends at about 12:00 pm or 1:00 pm.
