We’ll leave at 8 am in the morning from your hotel lobby to go to Kampong Phluk (July to February) or Chong Kneas (March to June), the floating villages located near to Siem Reap. Here we will take a boat trip to the village and the flooded forest.

In the afternoon, we’ll visit Wat Thmey Killing Field, the War Museum and Royal Garden to see old big trees with bats in trees and popular 2 old Buddha statues where all local people from Seim and other city come to pray.

Stop At: Kampong Phluk Floating Village, Siem Reap Cambodia

On this tour, we leave at 8am in the morning from your hotel lobby and head out to Kampong Phluk ( Notes : from March till June we use Meychrey instesd) which is one of the floating villages on the great Tonle Sap lake. Here, we’ll take a boat trip to see the famous floating village where you’ll see a whole village of people who live and work on top of the water. Their homes, schools, shops, all float on the lake. They even have medical clinics to visit too. We will also explore the flooded forest before heading back to land.

Stop At: Wat Thmey (Killing Fields), Siem Reap Cambodia

In the afternoon, we will go to see the Wat Thmey Killing Fields. This is a pagoda which was used by the Khmer Rouge to kill and torture their victims. Today, it acts as a reminder to the atrocities which happened in the not too distant past.

Stop At: War Museum Cambodia, Kaksekam Village Sra Nge Commune, Siem Reap Cambodia

We will also visit the War Museum which displays some of the military vehicles and weapons used during the long and bloody civil war.

Stop At: Royal Independence Gardens, 6 National Road, Siem Reap 17000 Cambodia

located in city center, many old trees where fruits bats are living. There is a small active temple in the garden within two old Buddha statutes where local people go to pray. Near the temple you can see many shops selling beautiful flowers for offerings.
