Stop At: Kampong Phluk Floating Village, Siem Reap Cambodia

Our official tour guide will pick you up from your hotel on time we agreed with and then we will continue our journey through the countryside to the world’s second-largest freshwater Tonle Sap Lake. 

We will take a boat trip to ‘Kampong Phluk community, one of the fishing villages in Tonle Sap Lake. The cruise through the village and see unique houses on stilts, and mangrove trees or flooded forest. Our boat will meander slowly through forest canals, allowing you to catch glimpses of flora and fauna, and see a truly beautiful eco-system.

Take the back roads back to town on this half-day tour in Siem Reap and witness seasonal agricultural activities like cricket catching, rice planting, and harvesting, smoking fish, fish paste (prohoc making), and duck farming. We can stop at the village for you to take some photos and also visit a Buddhist monastery before heading home. We don’t recommend you to take this tour during the dry season from March-July.
