Details Schedule:
08:00am-08:30am: pick up from your Siem Reap Hotel or Guesthouse.
08:30am: Departure to Phsar Leu (the biggest local market in Siem Reap), easily twice the size of Old Market (Siem Reap’s largest tourist market). Then it’s time to explore: our tour guide will explain to you the activities of the market, including how the locals trade their clothes, toys, electronics, gold, dishware, fish, meats, vegetables – most of what we have for sale we can find in here. Breakfast! Our guide will help you to select available food in the market as your breakfast. Then it’s time to ride through the back streets of Siem Reap to the countryside where you can closely view the daily activities of farmers such as vegetable gardens, rice paddies, lotus farms and fishing. We will be meeting local farm animals such as cow, water buffalo, ducks and chickens. During this part of the ride we’ll have lots of stops if desired to interact with locals. If you like why not join in with their work? Also you can learn how to throw the fishing nets in the pond. Drinks and snacks are provided on tour (mineral water and local snacks/fruits).
Return back to your Siem Reap accommodation (or town) at about 12:00pm (noon).
