Angkor Wat is a temple complex in Cambodia and is the largest religious monument in the world, on a site measuring 162.6 hectares (1,626,000 m ; 402 acres)
Your guide will take you through this ancient wonder to give you an overview of Angkor Wat after which you enjoy breakfast, just outside the temple area in peaceful surroundings.
After breakfast, continue your journey by cycling around Angkor Wat complex head to Bayon temple. Take a short break and enjoy with your local fruit.
One of the most impressive temples to visit in Siem Reap, Bayon Temple is a picturesque and surreal temple harboring a myriad of smiling stone faces.
The best location for beautiful photos. The Terrace of The Elephant is one of the many iconic constructions of the Khmer Empire and a key highlight within the walled city of Angkor Thom. The long terrace, also known in some records as the Terrace of Honor, fronts the Royal Palace and has an entrance that once joined a causeway leading to Victory Gate of Angkor Thom which in turn led to the terrace of the East Baray.
The rest of the day is spent cycling the back trails through thick forest to ancient ruins, stopping at both iconic and lesser-known temples. Among others, we park our bikes at the many faces of Bayon and the jungle swallowed Ta Prohm, both must-sees. Enjoy pedaling through the mysterious jungle surrounding the temples before we take lunch by the small reservoir called Sra Srang
Srah Srang is a baray or reservoir at Angkor, Cambodia, located south of the East Baray and east of Banteay Kdei.
