Come and join us for a 2-Hour Guided Segway Tour at one of the Grand Strand’s most beautiful wetland and wildlife preserves, Huntington Beach State Park in Myrtle Beach. Nature lovers will enjoy the park’s Environmental Education Center for the chance to see Loggerhead Turtles and other endangered wildlife species up close. The park’s freshwater lake along the causeway is a sure-fire place to see Alligators basking in the sun, a variety of bird species, and maybe even a mink or two. Known for its natural beauty, Huntington Beach State Park was the former winter home of Anna Hyatt and Archer Huntington, sculptress and philanthropist, who left the park and adjacent Brookgreen Gardens as their legacy. Make sure to leave enough time in your day to also visit Atalaya, the picturesque, Moorish-style castle which was their residence and sculpting studios. This is less of a tour and more of a chance to get out and enjoy a segway ride while enjoying Daytona’s greatest assets: the sun and the sand. The Beach Run is a 60-minute ride after the 15-minute safety training. If high tide is 10:30, book either 8:30, 12:30, or 2:30. Booking a slot too close to high tide risks cancellation or rebooking. The wildlife at the State park is unpredictable with groupers, snappers and angel fish guaranteed and everything from dolphins, eagle rays, to manatees possible but less common. If you have good eyes or a passion for macro photography, octopus, scorpion fish, frogfish, and sea horses are present, if you can find them, in addition to the many species of blenny, crabs, mollusks, and fish. Visibility is generally 15-30'. Mild currents are normal as well.

No experience is necessary to join this professionally guided kayak trip. Bowman Bay is the perfect place for beginners to feel comfortable paddling on the sea. It offers beautiful scenery and lots of wildlife to seek out. Although this trip is conducted in Deception Pass State Park we avoid the turbulent water near the bridge which is more suitable for expert kayakers. If you plan to visit Deception Pass State Park then don't miss this wonderful opportunity to see it from the unique perspective of a sea kayak!

The St. Johns River offers diverse scenery and an abundance of wildlife and the spring run is a designated manatee refuge. During extremely cold weather, over 300 manatees have been counted in the short run. The river on either side of the run is designated as a "No Wake Zone," making this area of the St. Johns GREAT for kayaking and canoeing.
