The sea around Muscat is rich in life due to its location and seasonal cold-water currents that keep our corals healthy and full of life. Dolphin's hunt and travel along the coast of Oman from Musandam to Salalah, and Muscat has a fair share of sightings of spinner dolphins, bottlenose dolphins, and common dolphins. We also see plenty of whale sharks (from May to October), false killer whales, and occasional sightings of humpback whales and orcas. On rare occasions, we can see Arabian and blue whales. Snorkel is a wonderful activity that requires little training and equipment. Snorkeling is easy to learn, the exercises are fun and you can easily explore the beautiful underwater world with all its inhabitants and habitats. We have very good visibility and hardly any current in Mirabello Bay, which makes it ideal for beginners. Our instructors operate to professional standards to ensure your safety and well-being.
