The Bonneville Salt Flats are a unique geological wonder seen in very few places around the world. We will travel there (1.5 hour drive one-way from Salt Lake City) in a 9 person Van. We'll share some amazing geological facts about the lake, it's history and current state. The expansive wilderness and drive to the Salt Flats is simply incredible. While the drive is quite far to the Salt Flats from Salt Lake City, we stop a couple times to help break it up. We drive by the southern edge of the Great Salt Lake and stop at the Visitors Center. We stop at the Tree of Life Sculpture and at 2 different points at the Flats themselves *The Salt Flats dry in the summer and typically wet in the winter. When wet, it's often calm, sending mirror like reflections of the mountains in the background. If it's wet we'll bring our gum boots and walk out into the flats. The photo opportunities and Views are endless! Walk: Easy + Flat, 1 mile out and back.

*Start times and Pickup locations are decided by traveler* **Salt Flats frequently covered in water between November & April.** No one will probably ever beat the land speed record at the Bonneville Salt Flats (763 mph), but that doesn't mean we cannot still go fast! This tour will take you and your party on to the famous track where so many land speed records have been set and broken. While we won't even get close to the records speed, for those who desire it, we give them their own racing experience (often hitting speeds of 120…yes it's perfectly safe). Whether you enjoy fast speeds or not, the Salt Flats west of Salt Lake City are an incredible destination that everyone must see if given the chance! Our guides will help you and your part create fun and meaningful photos for you to remember your trip by (see attached photos). We hope you enjoy our time with us!

On this unique, adventurous experience you will get a a birds eye view of The Great Salt Lake that puts into perspective the scale and beauty of this top Utah attraction. What would take a full day to see by car, we will squeeze into an action packed 40 minute flight. The GSL is an iconic landmark and you will see views that have been constantly evolving since it’s creation during the Bonneville flood over 14,500 years ago! One of the benefits of visiting the lake by air is we have no negative ecological impact. You will see many of the animals that call the Great Salt Lake home such as elk, antelope, buffalo, deer, coyote, and even eagles. After a quick safety briefing we will get in the plane, buckle up, and begin our adventure. Half of the flight will be up high with expansive views, and the other half will be "low and slow" where you will feel like we are in a flying car.
