View the abundant wildlife of the Chobe National Park on a 3 hour Chobe River Game Cruise. View the Chobe wildlife from a different perspective along the Chobe River. Enjoy a cruise on the Chobe River and experience the abundant wildlife drinking at the waters edge. A very popular activity in the Chobe National Park is a leisurely boat cruise along the Chobe River. Drifting along the river on a comfortable river boat is the ideal vantage point from which to witness the many animals which make their way down to drink from the river. Hippos and crocodiles are also common sightings on these cruises. Elephants frequently cross the river to the islands where lush green grass is available year-round.

The hotel pick ups commerce around 07:00am, guest are transported by road from Livingstone for about 1hr drive to Kazungula one border stop where you shall do your passport formalities for both Zambian and Botswana side just after crossing the newly constructed Kazungula bridge. The guide on Botswana side will be waiting for you, once we met the guide, you drive through to our Botswana office where you shall have a short briefing about the activity. After briefing the guides will decide either to start with a game drive, lunch then river safari cruise or the other way round. Animals available in the park African painted dog, blue wildebeest, Cape buffalo, civet, crocodile, giraffe, hippopotamus, hyena, leopard, lion, puku (a type of antelope, assessed Near Threatened), savanna elephant, tseessebe, zebra, and much more.

On a Chobe River Game Cruise you will cruise upstream into the Chobe National Park. This is an excellent opportunity to see large herds of elephants drinking and playing in the river. From the river you will be able to see giraffe, kudu, impala, zebra and maby other antelope. You will also see large herds of buffalo making their way down to the waters edge to quench their thirst. Wallowing Hippo are a regular feature on a Chobe River Game Cruise and crocodile are often spotted on the waters edge. A Game Cruise is a fantastic opportunity for birdwatchers to view the many bird species that live in the park.

Chobe National Park This is a full-day game viewing safari and river safari in the Chobe National Park. Because you are picked up at 7 am, this is the choicest time to encounter some of the big cats and nocturnal animals on the 1-hour drive to the border through the Zambezi National Park. You will be at the Chobe National Park`s gate slightly before 8:00 am to start the day with half-day game drive in the park. This is the best time to see big cats, as they will still be active and hunting. The drive will continue until your break for lunch about noon. Lunch will be at the Chobe Safari Lodge (or similar) followed by the afternoon river safari on the Chobe River. This is a 2-hour cruise starting in the afternoon and ending around 4:00 pm. The cruise affords a chance to encounter elephants, hippos, giraffes,zebras and birds. You will be at the Zimbabwe border around 4:30pm for the 45 mile (70km) transfer to your Victoria Falls hotel. You will be back to your hotel around 6:00pm.
