If you are new to or have never snorkeled before this is the ideal choice! Particularly good for families with younger children or swimmers who aren’t certain if they are “seaworthy” enough for one of our longer trips. This trip is much slower-paced and affords guests time to become more familiar and comfortable with the exciting and beautiful sport of snorkeling. Our crew will be happy to help you adjust your mask, fins, and snorkel and help you become comfortable viewing the tropical fish while using a flotation assistance device we call a “noodle”. You'll even watch for dolphins and whales along the way! We offer several different times slots to fit your schedule. The times shown indicate the check in time. It starts with a 2.5 hour evening tour through the iconic landscape of Monument Valley and allows you to explore backcountry routes and restricted areas. After the evening tour a traditional Navajo dinner will await you deep in the valley close to Rain God Mesa. The tour will conclude with a special entertainment program during which you can enjoy some traditional dancing, chanting(singing), drumming and storytelling while sitting around a campfire under the stars.

We carry a maximum of 14 passengers so we can offer a more intimate snorkel experience than the larger "cattle boats" in Kona. This 8 hour tour covers the basic 17-mile loop of Monument Valley and visits some restricted backcountry stops. You will view many of the famous monuments on this tour; in particular you will make stops at The East and West Mittens viewpoint, John Ford’s Point & Three Sisters viewpoint, the Totem Pole viewpoint, Artist’s Point, and the North Window viewpoints. In the back-country you will make stops at The Sun’s Eye & Ear of the Wind. In addition, to all the above-mentioned areas, it also visits scenic Mystery Valley. Mystery Valley is an area full of Anasazi Ruins and rock art, otherwise not seen from the main highway. You will explore Mystery Valley in the morning, followed by a barbecued lunch cooked by your tour guide. You will then continue on into Hidden Valley, covering the same 3.5 hour tour, visiting the Hogan and all the well-known formations.
