Embera tour is an unique experience that combines the visit to one of the main indigenous group in Panama and having contact with the amazing nature in the Central-American rainforest. After picking you up at your hotel, we will go to Alajuela Lake where we will board a ¨piragua¨, a traditional indigenous boat, heading to the Canyon in the Chagres River. Later we will go to Tusipono Embera, a small traditional village located in the bank of the Chagres River in the middle of the rainforest. The Emberas will show their traditions, their way of dressing and how they elaborate their handcrafts. They will perform their traditional dances and music and we will have time for interacting directly with them. We will enjoy lunch prepared by the Embera community.

The Phoenix Tucson Box Canyon Tour happens in Florence, Arizona, about halfway between Tucson  and Phoenix on State Route 79. Driving time from either city is approximately 1.5 hours depending on your location.  Our trail is about 34 miles in length and about 3.25 hours in duration. Elevation gain and descent is over 1500 vertical feet as we climb up and over the front range of the Pinal Mountains. Start your day with the Sumidero Canyon where you will enjoy a motorboat cruise through the middle of this spectacular canyon, the road descends more than 1500 meters and reaches the Grijalva River where the Sumidero Canyon has cliffs from 100 to 1000 meters high. It is very often possible to see local wildlife such as crocodiles, spider monkeys, and white and gray herons. Walk around Chiapa de Corzo first Spanish settlement, which is also distinguished by its exquisite gastronomy,and its traditional drink called "Pozol".
