After a brief instruction, we will depart from Pontal beach at the historic center of Paraty towards Ilha dos Pombos (birds) where we can appreciate a multitude of exotic plants and a spectacular view. Soon after, we will enter the last mangrove within the city of Paraty. A whole adventure with a few surprises along the way; suddenly some Toucan, imperial heron, not forgetting the beautiful family of capybaras that live there. Then we will paddle towards the Perequê Açu river; passing through the historic center of Paraty, to enjoy the city from a different perspective and take beautiful photos of the curiosities, characters and historical places along the way. see you soon !! It is very common to come across and manatees that feed on seagrass and that live in harmony with so many other marine species that live there. Enjoy a guided kayaking adventure along the shores of the historic Saint John River from Dominion Park Beach in Saint John NB. Located just a short 15 minute drive from the center of the city! History and photo opportunity abounds as you paddle in your tandem kayak along an ice aged river where 15,000 years ago receding glaciers forced the river to find a new route over the rock ridges at Reversing Falls Rapids. A light-house, pre-cambrian fossils, and an industrial story dating back to the 17th century. Explore the beautiful and bountiful river which has been the lifeblood of our region for thousands of years. Keep your head on a swivel and an eye on the horizon for local wildlife, including bald eagles, blue heron, sturgeon, and if we're lucky, even the occasional rare sighting of harbour seal, osprey, and river otters.

At Orca diving, there is a space where you can store your backpacks, and lockers for your valuables, all included in the kayak rental. Outside there are showers, toilets and changing rooms. Below the diving center is the beautiful Verudela beach where you can stay all day. We have a large fleet of kayaks available for rental. Kayaks come in both sit-on-top and traditional models, 1-person kayaks or 2-person ( even 3). For kids from 5 till 8 years kayaks for free if rental include triple kayak. Once you’ve checked in, a staff member will take you to the water’s edge and give you an orientation that includes: – Getting comfortable with your kayak – Basic paddling techniques – Different routes through the area – Safety issues and review – Sun tan lotion and cap or a hat would be necessarily if going for a longer time(2hrs. or more).

Starting point of this tour is at the famous Supetar beach Vrilo, where our experienced guide will instruct you on paddling, using the equipment and how to remain safe at sea. Accompanied by our guide, you will start your adventure by paddling along the coast towards east, enjoying the alternating view consisting of pine woods and olive groves, old handmade drywalls, beaches and the rocky coastline.
