Did you know that Lisbon is even more beautiful when seen from the Tagus River south bank? Experience Lisbon from a different perspective, from the river level to the 133 meter-high (436 ft) Sanctuary of Christ the King. The Tagus river crossing is on Lisbon’s iconic boat, the Cacilheiro. On the south bank, we ride our electric bikes along the river, at our own pace, surrounded by tranquility. The Sanctuary of Christ the King or “Cristo Rei” is high above us, but with electric bikes we don’t even feel the steepness. Our first stop is at Casa da Cerca – Center for Contemporary Art, for coffee and a visit to the house and its beautiful garden. When in the Sanctuary, the view becomes even more amazing, with the huge Tagus River, the bridges, the colorful houses, the green Monsanto Forest and much more. You would want to lose yourself in the landscape. The return is downhill, yet with a stop at the pleasant pedestrian street Cândido dos Reis. The ferry awaits us back to Lisbon.

On our trip to Tierra del Fuego Island, we first begin by picking up passengers from their respective lodging places in the city of Punta Arenas, and then heading to the city of Porvenir at a navigation crossing through the Strait of Magallanes with a duration of 2 hours. Upon arriving in the city of Porvenir we visited Selknam Square, a waterfront and a restaurant as an option for the passenger. Then we headed towards the King Pinguino Park on a van trip with a delay of approximately 2 hours. Upon arriving at the King Pinguino Park we must cancel an entry ticket, then we head towards the King Pinguino viewpoint, from where we can observe them from a distance. We finish our visit to the King Penguin Park and we return to another navigation crossing in Primera Angostura with a delay of 30 minutes. Return to the city of Punta Arenas arriving at approximately 9:30 p.m. at the passenger's respective places of lodging.

Our tours are much better for passengers because the round trip is on the same Patagon Ferry where they travel comfortably in their seats and we do not have to cross through Primera Angostura, which is a long route, which tires passengers.

The West Bank of Luxor in Egypt is even more of an archaeological paradise than the East Bank. A string of pharaonic mortuary temples vies with the richly-decorated Tombs of the Nobles and the Workmens’ Village of Deir el-Medineh for the traveller’s attention. The West Bank is also the gateway to the amazing Valley of the Kings. Although the vast majority of visitors to Luxor still tend to stay on the East Bank, a growing number now consider the West Bank as a good accommodation option – once you’re awake, no need to bother crossing the river…. all the sights are right at your doorstep.

This is a great way to get an overview of Kings Canyon National Park and see all of the iconic sites in a small guided half day trip.
