Le Morne Brabant is a mountain of the south-west of Mauritius, on the peninsula of le Morne. Our team has been the first ever guides in 2004 to bring guests from all over the planet on this majestic rock. Declared World Heritage by UNESCO since July 6, 2008, the site is a sanctuary of the runaway slaves who would have committed suicide by jumping off the cliff of the mountain. Le Morne Brabant is one of the most preserved and wildest mountains of the island. It is habitat to a very large variety of endemic and narrow-endemic species, such as the rare Trochetia Boutoniana, which is our floral emblem. Some steeper parts of the ascent will require the use of our hands to progress safely towards the top, where we’ll discover the breath-taking views on the west and south-west lagoons and part of of the island !

Situated at the extreme southwestern tip of Mauritius, you will hike and climb to the memorial cross of Le Morne Brabant Mountain (UNESCO world heritage site), guided by our local and qualified mountaineer who is totally committed to safety, comfort and fun. Experience the first light of the day, followed by the magical sunrise with its golden colours which can be seen only at this time of the day. This activity involves multiple rock-scrambling and climbing sections which can be tackled participants with little to no experience in mountain climbing. During the hike, you will learn about the unique flora and fauna of the island, the history of the mountain and the cultural aspects of Mauritius, accompanied by a local qualified mountain guide. You will also spot “Boucle d’Oreille” commonly known as Trochetia Boutoniana, the endemic national flower of Mauritius.

Explore Le Morne from sky to sea! Start the day by climbing to the peak of Le Morne Brabant, one of only two UNESCO world heritage sites in Mauritius. From the top you'll be able to enjoy breathtaking views of the world famous Mauritian lagoon. After the hike, spend time relaxing at the beautiful Le Morne beach. Swim, suntan, or if you're feeling up for it, participate in one of the many activities Le Morne has to offer, including kitesurfing, windsurfing, stand up paddle, kayak and pedalo (please note that the price of these activities is not included). From the hike, you'll be able to enjoy beautiful views of the lagoon you'll swim at in the afternoon, and from the lagoon, you'll be able to enjoy views of the mountain you just hiked! This morning desert  dune drive is ideal for those who have no time for the evening desert safari. The tour starts from a pick up to your hotel at 09:00 am and will finish around 12:30 pm. Our land cruiser will pick you up from the hotel or residence and drive through the Dubai desert  which is approximately 40 minutes.  Enjoy the adventurous  drive at the high red dunes and the golden beauty of the desert dunes. Get ready for an adrenaline and thrilling roller coaster drive plus the picture point stop in the middle of the desert.  The duration of the tour will be around 4 hours from pick up to drop off.
