Full Day East of Madeira Tour

Descent towards Ribeiro Frio, located in the Laurissilva forest, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where nature lives in perfect harmony.
Continuing along the north coast, pass through Faial and arrive at Santana, a village known for its typical and original thatched roof houses.
After lunch, admire Ponta de São Lourenço, with several rock formations and impressive views.

Ribeiro Frio – Portela
This walk is where you will see the natural beauty of our Laurissilva forest, with many endemic species of plants and birds. A walk that will convey a calming and peaceful ambience and give you a remarkable opportunity to admire the unique and oldest laurel treed along the way.
Levada Walk from Ribeiro Frio to Portela
Lace up your sports shoes and get ready to enjoy an 8-hour guided walk along the best-known 'levada,' (irigation channel) on the island of Madeira, from Ribeiro Frio to Portela. In a small group of no more than 15 people, marvel at the flora and fauna and admire the sweeping views toward Porto da Cruz and Penha d'Aguia, along the way.

Following lunch in the colorful town of Santana, you’ll visit more incredible lookout points such as Ponta de São Lourenço, and stop off at Machico before drop-off at your Funchal accommodation.
Ribeiro Frio – Portela
Along the levada we can contemplate the multi-varied shades of green, provided by a natural forest spot of the island, well-preserved -Filoresta Laurissilva do Til and Vinhático. In this tour we go along the levada that gently carries the water along the entire route. In it, you can see trout from time to time.

Departure from the hotel at 9:00 am towards the parish of Camacha to observe the wicker factory and all its process. Afterwards, climb to Pico do Areeiro at 1818m, where you can observe the beautiful mountains and surrounding valleys and even the parish of Curral das nuntas, deep in one of the great valleys. Descent to Ribeiro Frio, where there is a nursery of trout that later are dropped in the brook.
A visit to the center of Santana is followed to observe the typical triangular houses with thatched roof, followed by another stop in Faial. Returning to Funchal, you will have two more stops, at the belvedere of Ponta de São Lourenço and Machico.
Return to the hotel by 5:00 p.m.

Cabo Frio Full-Day Tour From Buzios with Lunch
Enjoy the sightseeing city tour of Cabo Frio.
Starting with pickup at the hotels in Búzios at 9 am, we travel by minivan to Cabo Frio. It is a 1-hour drive from Búzios to Cabo Frio. Along the way, the tour guide interacts with the clients and provides information about the cities and more. We arrive in Cabo Frio around 11am and we visit the most famous spots and beaches of the city.
We stop at the Shopping Park Lagos for some shopping. Then, we head to the historical center and stop for lunch (drinks and desserts not included). We visit the Saint Benedict Church and the Saint Matheus Fort. We visit the famous Praia do Forte and stop for a swim and relax at the beautiful beach. We continue to our last stop at the Rua dos Biquínis for extra shopping before returning to Búzios around 5pm.
