The White Salmon River tumbles and charges its way down a narrow basalt canyon. The rapids are big and bouncy with many large waves and powerful holes. With rapids like Maytag, Corner Cave, Grasshoper, Siwash, Corkscrew, Waterspout, Stairstep, Highway Hole, Rattlesnake and Deadmans’ Corner (and many more), thrillseekers love this trip. This is an eight-mile trip with the first five miles consisting of continuous class III+ and IV rapids.

We take you to our own personal salmon catching areas. All along the drive to our fishing destination, you may have the opportunity to see Alaskan wildlife. Bear, moose, foxes, coyote, lynx, owls and eagles. Beautiful mountains and rivers. And on one of our destinations you will fish across from the Knik Glacier.When we take you out it is more of a family friendly experience. We travel in a 4×4 Mercedes sprinter van and there will be a bbq on board for fresh grilled salmon. You are welcome to bring your own lunch and snacks but we always carry water on board.

The kayaks are hand made and each takes over 500 hours of craftsmanship to make. So our guests are able to paddle a beautiful wooden kayak during their tour session. Similar feel to driving a classic car down the road. A classic or a non classic will both get you there, but sometimes its about the ride experience and that's what is unique here.
