The best Horse Trail Rides in Arizona. Gentle horses. Good trails through the mountains and canyons. Adventurous. Best, most colorful scenery. Great for photographers! Great outdoor activity for the family. Wrangler provides education about the plants in the desert such as the barrel cactus, saguaro cactus, yucca,creaso bush, prickly pear cactus, and the types of birds living there such as the road runner, red-tailed hawk, zoned tail hawk, Bald Eagle, Turkey Vulture, Woodpecker, Cactus Wren, Elf Owl, black phoebe, yellow-headed blackbird, Le Conte's Thrasher, Curved Bill Thrasher, White Winged Dove, Butos, Phainopepla, Verdin and the brown crested Flycatcher among many other wonderful birds. The wrangler also educated his riders about all the wild animals and plants of the desert.

Historical Trail Ride is a horseback riding tour between medieval monasteries of Odzun, Horomayr, and Ardvi. If you are new to riding, you will get a half-an-hour horse riding lesson, then you can take beginner-friendly trail rides that will teach you to walk and trot at the beginning of the tour. What a fantastic way to experience the winelands, from between the ears of a horse. Our 2 Hour trail ride will start off with a short lesson for novices, after which we will head out onto the trail. The trail will take you through orchards, along the Eerste River, across vineyards and up into the hills. The scenery is simply magnificent! Everyone gets exactly the ride they want, be that a gentle walk through vineyards, or a fast paced canter down a farm track.  In the event that we have a mixed ability group, the group will split up for trots and canters, so beginners can just walk. Your guide will be a local guide, with vast knowledge of South-African culture, the local area and natural horsemanship. Our horses are absolutely the heart of our business. We work with them through connection and natural horsemanship which means they are well trained, and gentle natured. We never ride the same trail twice, so expect a wonderful ride!

What could be better than a Sunset Trail Ride at Lake Louisa State Park? A sunset trail ride with champagne and charcuterie! Enjoy beautiful sunsets and evening wildlife during the magical golden hours. This ride is family-friendly, and safely led by two experienced and friendly wranglers. No previous riding experience is required. Rides will follow a special route, and arrive back to the barn roughly 30 minutes before sunset. While the wranglers put the horses to bed, guests will enjoy a complimentary glass of champagne (must be 21 or older with valid ID) or sparkling cider, charcuterie board, and roasting s'mores over a campfire. Required arrival times are 30 minutes BEFORE the start of the ride. Start times are strictly enforced to ensure the ride is safely back at the barn before sundown.

The Navajo Nation is the largest federally recognized Indian Tribe in the United States of American covering a geographical area of about 17,544,500 acres (71,000km2; 27413 square mile). The Navajo Nation is actually a sovereign nation with in the United States. The Dine culture, language, and traditions are still practiced today by many of the Navajo People. Horseback riding is a big part of our culture, even used in many of the marriage ceremonies and healing ceremonies. One of the early settlers, Mr. Manson Yazzie (1886-1976) lived and grazed his livestock in vicinity of Waterhole Canyon. Loom Rock and Horse Bend area on a seasonal basic until he passed away in 1976. Mr. Manson Yazzie's family continues to live in this area practice Dine traditional way of life, they maintain horse, and other various livestock on their lands.

Our trails are well maintained and absolutely beautiful! They will take you into the lower foothills of the Red Mountian, part of the Chugiak Range. You may see wildlife on the trail such as eagles, porcupine & moose.
