One of the most popular treks in Ladakh – it is a perfect combination of beautiful trans-himalayan landscape with ladakhi villages. There are good chances to spot some high altitude wildlife as well as experience the life of nomadic families as they herd their yaks in these big and beautiful valleys The route then follows the Markha River, passing through lush farmlands and traditional villages. The head of the valley is dominated by the glaciated Kang Yangtse peak (6,400m) rising high above the pastures of Nimaling – an idyllic camp site for one night. Kongmaru La (5,265m) marks the highest point of our trek with excellent views of Kang Yangtse, the distant Nun-Kun peaks and northwards to the shimmering peaks that mark the Tibetan border.

The Sham Valley trekalso known as the “Baby Trek”—is a short 3-day trek perfect for beginners, or those hoping to do a bit of warm up before a more strenuous adventure. Don’t let the name deter you; though one of the easier treks in Ladakh, the Sham Valley trek is tiring at times due to the altitude, and you’ll certainly break a sweat. A basic level of fitness is still required, but we highly recommend it for anyone looking for a short or beginner trek in Ladakh.

A visit to Langtang valley offer opportunities to explore villages, get familiar with mix of Sherpa and Tamang tradition and culture,  moderate climbing excursions and glaciers at relatively lower elevation. Langtang national park offers variety of birds and wildlife views. It is homeland of Wild Boar and Red Panda. There is no direct flight option to this area hence you have to rely on the ground vehicle. This trekking is the best options for those who want to reach about 5000m (Tsergo ri) in the short span of time (8 days). This trekking area is yet far from the commercialization and not the populated trekking trail as compare to the Annapurna and the Everest regions.

Langtang Valley Trek

Langtang Valley Trek is a pleasant trip in Nepal that begins with tours of Kathmandu’s UNESCO World Heritage Sites followed by a drive to Syabrubesi the next day. Following our route map, we begin trekking from the lower region of the Langtang Valley through small villages, farmlands and verdant forests to Kyangjin Gompa. We also climb Tserko Ri for excellent sunrise views over the Langtang ranges. The region borders Tibet and was once an important trading route. We can still see the influence in the rich local culture. Furthermore, the Langtang Valley Trek’s itinerary also takes us to the ‘Langtang Village’ which was heavily affected by the devastating earthquake that hit Nepal in April 2015. Our exciting 11-day trip in Nepal comes to a conclusion in Kathmandu, where it had started.

Tsum Valley Trek

Discover the secret Tibetan Buddhist land lying at the edge of one of the most secluded Himalayan valleys. The region once being part of Tibet looks completely different from what you will find elsewhere. The people of Tsum Valley or the Tsumbas belong to Tibetan origin with their own ancient form of dialect, art, culture and religion. Very few adventure travelers have made it to this high and mysterious valley, which used to be an important trade link with Tibet. In the initial days, we trek the route of Around Manaslu Trek or the Manaslu Circuit Trek. The Tsum Valley lies on the northern part of Manaslu and used to be a restricted area until 2008. The region is still less exposed in comparison to other touristy areas, with relatively virgin and less beaten paths in comparison to the more popular regions.

Gokyo Valley Trek

Gokyo Valley Trek is offers magnificent views of the mountain peaks and the Ngozumpa Glacier– the largest in Nepal’s Himalayas. The view of this region is associated with the soaring views of the most popular mountains in Nepal, at an altitude of 8,000 m such as Cho Oyu, Everest, Lhotse and Makalu which are clearly visible from Gokyo Ri above Gokyo Lake. One of the most remarkable features is the views of the tremendous ice ridge between Cho Oyu and Gyachung. After landing at Lukla’s airport, the adventure begins. We spend the next few days trekking and interacting amongst the mountain people also known as Sherpa’s, we stay at local lodges and trek into the heartland of their villages. We will pass Buddhist monasteries with the views of Everest and other snow towering mountains getting closer by the day. After trekking to Gokyo Ri (5,483 m), we return at a leisurely pace back to Namche and Lukla for our flight back to Kathmandu.
