In St Georges Chapel you will encounter the wonder of England's finest gothic masterpiece, soak up the indefinable atmosphere that a space with so much history creates, stand on the tombs of some of the mightiest Kings of England and pay your respects to Queen Elizabeth ll, who is also buried there. After catching the changing of the guard we can wander along the north terrace at front where one can see Eton college across the Thames. On our return to the car we will check out some of the more charming aspects of the old town of Windsor.

Windsor Castle and Windsor is well worth visit. If the timings work out it's definitely worth getting there for 10.45am to see the changing the guard on Thursday & Saturday. Walk down from the castle towards the river Thames and cross the bridge and you will be in Eton. To make the most of your time at Windsor Castle, pick up one of the free multimedia guides at the start of your visit or bring your own headphones. Available in various languages.
