The 3 hours classes are held every day. All classes are small in size – never more than 9 people (group) – to ensure adequate personal attention. Meet at your hotel, taking by a tuk tuk for shopping at the village market with an assistance from the school where you are going to learn more about Khmer cooking ingredients. The cooking class concludes of your own cooking dishes at the end, then lunch and then transfer back to your hotel.

While I am young I confused that Amok original recipe belong to Thailand this confused me about 20 year, after coming in to the food class I am realized that it is 100% belong to Cambodia and it is a sign of our culture. So I am delighted to choose this menu for my class to spread out this secret of recipe. Thai Amok and Khmer Amok is a bit similar but Cambodia have its own taste signature.
We are experiences this group cooking class since 2016 and we believed that we can make you enjoyed and memorable.
Market Tour and Cambodian Cooking Class in Siem Reap with Private Transfers
Your host Sela will pick you up from the hotel and accompany you to the market, only a five minute walk from his home. It is a local open market where Sela will show you various fresh fruits, vegetables, herbs, spices and meat. You will buy a few fresh ingredients needed for your cooking class and even learn to bargain Cambodian style!
After the market tour, you will join Sela and his wife in their outdoor restaurant to cook popular local Khmer dishes. The cooking class is set up outside next to the garden, making it very convenient to pick fresh herbs like mint and basil for your meal. This is a hands-on class. With the help of Sela you will make four Khmer dishes from scratch and enjoy the meal together once it's done.

Bike Ride In Siem Reap Countryside
7:30 AM PICK UP FROM YOUR HOTEL
You will first be fitted with a bike at the Siem Reaper shop and then given the tour details by your guide. This will also include going over our safety rules. After being fitted with a bicycle and helmet, your English-speaking guide will lead you through back roads, across rice fields and farms, and into small local villages where you’ll learn about how locals live, first hand.
8:00 AM – 10:30 AM
There are multiple scenic places that you will stop, including rice fields, local markets, mushroom farms, rice wine distillation, Buddhist temples, lotus farms, and village handicrafts. During this ride, we will stop and welcome you to try local fruits and snacks.
11:00 AM – 12:00 PM
We’ll arrive back at our office. Don’t forget to give our guides a hug and keep in touch. It’ll likely be an experience to remember, and a new friend made.

In 2016 I am using this Menu for my hotel cocking class but after I leave the hotel I decided to make my own activities . This will bring my guest a different feel as I making this activities outside using the local farm for a vegetable and only buy some ingredient from the local market which we bring guest together in the morning

This morning, 9:30am meet your personal guide and driver and transfer to Shinta Mani Hotel for our private cooking classes. Start with a morning visit to one of the old markets, also known as the Psa Chas. Our Executive Chef will guide you through the market and teach you more about the local produce and herbs for the class. Ingredients that are typically used in Khmer cooking include turmeric, kafir lime leaves, ginger, lemongrass, dried chilli and galangal.
Following the visit to the market, guests will return to the hotel and start the class in a private space within Kroya.
