You want to see something of Mahé, but no boring sights, no strenuous hikes, just lazing on the beach, swimming in the most beautiful bays of Mahé? Or just enjoy a coconut on the beach with or without rum? Then this beach tour around Mahé is just right for you! We have certainly walked this tour to Anse Major over 1000 times in the last 10 years and we are still fascinated by this beautiful hike to this day. In terms of outdoor activities on Mahé, this hike, which can also be described as a walk, is a highlight in the Seychelles. The guided tour to Anse Major is easy to do and can also be done in bad weather. You have a great view of various bays & the northwest of Mahé. The green nature in the jungle to be crossed is safe. Children aged 5 and over will also be thrilled, as there is so much to see and discover. We may even see a real flying fox up close and feed it. Anse Major is not accessible by car, you have to make a little effort, but you will be exceptionally rewarded. The way back can be done by Taxi boat at an optional cost. The tour begins at 9:30am for 8 hours with a transfer from the hotel for a stop in the colonial centre of "the world's smallest capital", Victoria. Highlights to visit are the court buildings, post office, Clock-tower [twin of the one outside London's Victoria Station], 'Codevar' building where local crafts, including the renowned Kreol Or. Visit of the focal point of the town, is its colorful market where stalls of fresh fish, tropical fruits & vegetables, herbs & spices, are displayed in an abundance of fragrances. After leaving Victoria Market you are driven across the Sans Soucis mountain pass, with a photo stop at the historical Mission Lodge where you will get a wonderful panoramic view of the South of Mahe at a comfortable altitude. During your tour of South Mahe there will be a stop for lunch at a Creole Restaurant where you can enjoy some local dishes. At the end of your tour you will be dropped back to your hotel.

A guided city tour through Victoria on Mahé, one of the smallest capital cities in the world. We will not only pass by many sights here, but also have enough time to visit and take photos. The city tour of Victoria takes place on foot. Wheelchairs or baby carriages are no problem, as Victoria is flat and virtually barrier-free. We see, for example, the Hindu temple, the Nature Museum, the Clocktower, the largest and oldest church in the Seychelles, the small Victoria Marina, various sculptures, landmarks of the Seychelles and possibly also the extraordinary Supreme Court of the Seychelles. If there is enough time, we will also be happy to visit the Botanical Garden, where you can marvel at the giant tortoises and the Coco de Mer. A total of 4 hours are planned for the Victoria city tour. An optional lunch is included in the city tour. Of course, we are also happy to accommodate your wishes.
